Actual ways to stop waste, fraud and abuse

Cut Wasteful Government Spending:

  1. Eliminate oil and gas subsidies – Stop giving $3 billion in taxpayer money to profitable fossil fuel companies.
  2. End hedge fund tax breaks – Save $1.3 billion annually by closing loopholes that favor hedge fund managers.
  3. Cancel ineffective military projects – Stop funding outdated weapons like fighter jets when modern warfare relies on drones.
  4. Audit the Pentagon – Force the Department of Defense to pass a financial audit and eliminate unnecessary spending.

Reform Healthcare Costs:

  1. Expand drug price negotiations – Medicare should negotiate prices for all essential medications, not just 10.
  2. Cut pharmaceutical subsidies – Stop giving billions to drug companies without requiring lower drug prices in return.
  3. Implement fair pricing for medical care – Cap hospital and pharmaceutical markups that drive up consumer costs.

Stop Corporate Welfare:

  1. End taxpayer-funded bailouts for corporations – Airlines, utility companies, and other industries should not receive public money just to hand out executive bonuses.
  2. Eliminate unnecessary tax breaks for big businesses – Shift corporate tax incentives to support small businesses and job creation instead.
  3. Reform government contracts – Avoid overpaying for services and products that benefit only a few corporations.

Make Social Programs More Efficient & Fair:

  1. Allow food assistance recipients to buy hot food – Remove arbitrary restrictions that make life harder for people in need.
  2. Ensure subsidies benefit workers, not corporations – Instead of allowing companies to pay low wages while employees rely on public assistance, enforce fair wages.
  3. Invest in public systems instead of private handouts – Redirect funds from corporate bailouts to improving infrastructure, education, and healthcare.

Reduce Personal Financial Pressure:

  1. Fight against predatory pricing and financial exploitation – Hold companies accountable for unfair labor practices and price gouging.
  2. Advocate for better wages – Push for higher minimum wages and fair labor laws to reduce reliance on taxpayer-funded aid.
  3. Cut personal expenses on overpriced medications – Research generic options and patient assistance programs to lower prescription drug costs.
  4. Support policies that lower everyday costs – Push for initiatives that cap rent increases, limit energy price hikes, and reduce medical bills.
